Rationale:
|
|
The board as a whole may vote for up to the number of seats in the subregion 18-A. This year there are 6 seats.
Regardless of the number of seats, each board may cast no more than one vote for any one candidate. The ballot also contains a provision for write-in candidates; their name and district must be clearly printed in the space provided.
The ballot must be signed by the Superintendent or Board Clerk and returned. Ballots must be postmarked by the U.S. Post Office on or before March 17, 2025.
All re-elected and newly elected Delegates will serve two-year terms beginning April 1, 2025 - March 31, 2027. |

CSBA’s Delegate Assembly is a vital link in the association’s governance structure. Working with local districts, county offices, the Board of Directors and Executive Committee, Delegates ensure that the association reflects the interests of school districts and county offices of education throughout the state.
Delegates are elected by CSBA member boards in the region the delegate is elected to represent and serve a two-year term. Nominees for a delegate seat must be a school board member of a CSBA member board within that geographic region. |
