Background: |
This is a revised job description for Systems Engineer, a classified management job description, under the supervision of the Director of Technology. Revisions are being made to better align the duties of this job description with our current technology environment needs and increased technical complexities that have evolved over the years. The current job description was last updated in 2017. Since then, our district's technology infrastructure has grown more complex, the needs of our schools and hardware have evolved, and the importance of cybersecurity has increased dramatically. The position is currently the highest paid compared to all of the surrounding districts for this role. Therefore, the the salary is being adjusted to reflect this. There are two levels for salary based on education and experience. The position is currently vacant. |
