On October 10, 2024, an agreement was approved and executed with BR Building Resources Company for the Enchanted Hills Elementary School - Fridge-Freezer Removal & Replacement Project.
Several manufacturer bid design changes were encountered, which would cause the project to incur multiple change orders and an increase in the cost of the project.
The original agreement provides a "termination for convenience" clause and can be exercised at the District's discretion by written notification to the architect. The termination process has been reviewed and approved by District legal counsel and the matter of termination has been discussed with BR Building Resources Company. A formal notification will be made subsequent to the approval by the Board.
