Award of Unit Bid No. 2024-25-005 for HVAC air duct cleaning services will enable the District to respond to various general contractor needs throughout the District in a timely manner and ensure compliance with legal bid mandates.

Background
:
|
The District advertised and received bids for HVAC air duct cleaning services on a unit cost basis, and an hourly rate cost for labor and materials when appropriate. Western Indoor Environmental Services submitted the lowest responsive and responsible bid. The bid will be utilized for various HVAC air duct cleaning service needs throughout the District.
This unit bid contract may be extended yearly for a total period not to exceed five (5) years, if mutually agreed upon by the contractor and the District. Consideration will be given at each renewal period for increases in prevailing wage rates and the Consumer Price Index, upon written request by the contractor.
The format will afford the District the benefits of both competitive bidding and added flexibility to respond to general contractor needs throughout the District in a timely manner and ensure compliance with legal bid mandates.
