Rationale: The City of Tucson Department of Procurement awarded RFP#222886 for the Rental of Uniforms, Floor Mats, Mops, Towels, and Related Services to Cintas Corporation. The City of Tucson Department of Procurement acted as a "lead agency" for OMNIA Partners to create a competitively bid contract to be used by other higher education institutions, K-12 education systems, local and state government, and nonprofit agencies nationwide. California law provides that public agencies may establish cooperative purchasing agreements wherein one public agency awards a competitive contract to a vendor and allows other public agencies to utilize or "piggyback" the contract.

Background Perris Elementary School District has been a participating member of OMNIA Partners since 2009. The Maintenance and Operations Department is requesting uniform rental services. The OMNIA contract is valid for an initial term of July 15, 2022, through July 14, 2025. Contract Addendum #3 extended the term to July 14, 2027.
